The Rev. Kristian C. Kohler has been a UniLu member since August 2020 and began serving as office administrator in November 2023. An ordained pastor in the ELCA’s New England Synod, Kristian (or “K.C.”) is currently a Ph.D. student in liturgical studies at the Boston University School of Theology. He is also licensed to officiate as a priest in the Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts and has ministered pastorally, musically, and administratively in both denominations in California, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts. Kristian has a Bachelor of Music degree in music education and sacred music from Westminster Choir College (Princeton, N.J.), and earned his Master of Divinity along with a Certificate in Lutheran Studies from Yale University’s Divinity School and Institute of Sacred Music. In his free time, K.C. can be found reveling in all things Harry Potter, building Legos, knitting hats, FaceTiming with his family (especially his niblings in Arizona and North Carolina), and listening to or making music.
